2D CRM High-Lift. Multi Element Airfoil Validation

Fundamental
2D CRM High-Lift — Flow360 validation

The multi-element 2D CRM airfoil is a benchmark for validating high-lift RANS predictions on a slat-main-flap configuration. This case verifies Flow360 against the NASA Turbulence Modeling Resource high-lift reference data. The setup uses the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model on the L7 workshop mesh at Mach 0.2, Reynolds number 5 × 10⁶, and alpha = 16° with translational periodic boundaries. Surface Cp and Cf is compared against FUN3D reference data from the NASA website. It also compares three x/c profile cuts against three sets of FUN3D data with different grid families / turbulence discretization. More details are present on the NASA TMR page.
