Rudimentary Landing Gear — Flow360 validation

The Boeing Rudimentary Landing Gear (BRLG) is a standard four-wheel configuration, which can be used as a benchmark for validating unsteady CFD methods. This benchmark targets prediction of circumferential Cp on the front and rear wheels. Flow360 Cp distributions on the front and rear wheels are compared against DLR BRLG revA wind-tunnel pressure port data. The results show great agreement with the experimental data serving this as a validation case for Flow360's DDES simulation capabilities.
